It will be very busy in certain parts around the ground and the city especially. If the kids are ok with waiting in crowds then Getting a good spot for smaller kids to be able to see is the important bit.
I think I’ll bring the little guy over. I might take him a bit out of the city along the parade route so hopefully it won’t be as mental. Anyone any recommendations on the best spot? I was thinking of heading towards the starting point.
Ita not too far from the airport to be fair. It's either the 86 or 86 a from the airprot and get off around Allerton road. It's only a few stops from the airprot.
If this opens for you it will show you some of the places. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DJGz4TuKSfR/?igsh=MXV6NXp4b2xhNTJpNw==
Avoid down by the pier head / strand / liverbuildings if you have small children. The flares can burn through clothes / flags & it can be scary for them - we experienced it for the last one but they're a bit older now so should be fine. We're still staying out of the heavy crowded areas though. If you're heading to a busy section make sure they wear a cap & something non polyester. Otherwise it's incredible, the views & the atmoshere will stay with you forever!
Absolutely awful. I hope everyone here is safe but now doubt there are a lot badly injured. Just awful
27 in hospital. 3 seriously injured including 1 child Zero deaths. hopefully all make a full recovery. Horrible end to a great day.
