Jaysus that's not bad at all. I was in the ilac earlier and €97 in there, €112 for the champions Jersey.
I thought the whole idea of buying Jersey was to put money into the coffers of the club. I thought it was frowned upon buying unofficial jerseys.
It's frowned upon to sell tickets above face value but the club do that, works both ways. There was a time not so long ago that buying even a coffee from the club was frowned upon.
I haven't bought a jersey in years but did buy the world champions one earlier this year cos I wanted to frame it, doubt I'll buy another one anytime soon. I usually buy 1 item a season that has no sponsorship on it, just the crest. Seen a lovely jacket in there today for €75, plain red with the swoosh and the crest, will probably just purchase that and that'll be me for the season. There's a lovely tracksuit top in there but it has the axa logo under the crest unfortunately.
I dont buy any. But I do sometimes get official clothing as gifts. But all items I get are just plain red with Crest or liver bird. No sponsors. No manufacturer. So I feel can be worn anytime an always up to date. I feel too that it's all irrelevant. I just enjoy supporting this wonderful club. And happy to let everyone know
I believe if you sign up to an account with Nike you get 25% off purchases on your birthday. I would never advocate lying but mistakes are easily made.
Well, I did it, the jersey arrived today and despite my whinging, I love it. Yes the teal is a mistake and the collar is mad looking but it’s the new Liverpool jersey and that’s all that really matters!
Interesting how the two shorts are almost identical, however, the ones without the liver bird are €18 and the LFC shorts are €40. Both on the Nike website. €22 for the small liver bird!
