    Nomadland is very good.
Some of the cast are real people playing fictionalised versions of themselves.

Watched Godzilla V Kong last night

If you have somehow avoided the media hype and dont know/guessed what is happening in the movie, well hidden spoiler for a reason then

I realize that a suspension of belief is needed for 150ft tall Apes and nuclear lizards and that the protagonist is a huge part of the Godzilla lore but regardless of that, its introduction was the exact point where I went...."nope".
It decimated an adult skull crawler in 4 seconds...and basically moved like the 1950 version of Mechagodzilla - ie like a man in a metal suit. It looked ridiculously fake (I know thats a relative term given the subject matter)
Up until its introduction, the film was quite enjoyable. Dont know if theyre saving the King Gidorah head for another movie, but frankly it wouldve been better to use it/him now and melt down Mecha for scrap.

Movie probably suffers from being one I was so looking forward to, and it just had no hope of living up to expectations.
Its just one of those movies that you will watch at some point - just to tick it off.

Have another for tonight Chaos Walking that Ive been looking forward to for a while - heres hoping it isnt another of the "oh well thats that watched" ones.

Watched The Way back last night with Ben Affleck playing a school level basket ball coach. Very good performance from him. It's more so about alcoholism and loss rather than being just a serious Mighty Ducks. Defo worth a watch.

The role he plays is basically himself as few years back as he was a serious alcoholic. Really good film.
