No.Mexico beat Brazil in the final.
Did Argentina win the one before that?
Just answering my own question - he was 2008 Gold medal winner so he did win a world title.
The referee celebrated reffering the final by hooking up with 2 brazzers
It’s been suspended due to Covid in Argentina.
could still be held elsewhere
It’s going to be played in Brazil now.
Ah yes where Covid 19 isn't a problem!
I see there is reports of the Brazilian squad planning on boycotting the tournament because of covid fears.
Looks like Brazil will play .
Brazil in the final. No LFC players started and Fabinho only came on as sub.
looking back through the games Alisson and Fabinho started a few and Firmino only 1 start so not that taxing hopefully. Does mean they will only be back for training a week or two before season stats. Same with Hendo.
hadn't seen any of the tournament but watched a bit of the game last night and couldn't believe fab wasn't playing.
Even though Liverpool players in Brazil squad I wouldn't mind seeing Messi win it with Argentina.
Fred is starting before him!
Brazil v Argentina tonight at 1am on BBC in the final.
Nice one. I was checking schedule last few days was saying only available by red button. Must have decided to put it on fairly recent
For people who hate Messi/Ronaldo comparisons, look away now.
Never been any doubt in my mind,it baffles me that there's people who think Ronaldo has been the better player. But theres the "Messi has never won a major trophy with Argentina" argument out the window.
He carried that team in the tournament . Having watched a good few of their games , the work he done. He was kicked about by Columbia in the Semi finals and last night he was brilliant. You could see how much it meant to him and how much it meant to their team for him to win something with the International team.
If you play Fred ahead of Fabinho you deserve to lose.
Watched extended highlights this morning without knowing the score. Poor game. Richarlson ahead of Jesus/Firmino, Fred ahead of Fabinho. They have Everton up front. They had no hope.
glad for Messi.
Jesus was suspended but would've started if not. Stayed up to watch it, not the best game, plenty of theatrics as usual. Delighted for Messi, if you think the Brazil fans are hurting this morning it's nothing in comparison to how bad Ronaldo is feeling
