Another one nailed down. Nice one. Said all summer getting the current players sorted was more important than any flashy signings.

Absolutely love the love the absolutely lack of respect he has for everyone, went at Ronaldo today like he was some 12 year old in training and gave Messi the same two years ago. Definitely had the look of the little lad starting a fight knowing full well Virg and Konate were on the way.

Loved him shouting “Keep going keep going” after we went 5-0 up.

Not had a great start to the season.

Is it time for Tsimikas to be given a run in the side?

Yes definitely. Robbo hasn’t been up to his usual high standards this season yet, a break could do him no harm

Yes, I think it is time now to make that change. Robbo will have international matches now also, and I think he is a little burnt out at the moment.

A little break for him now and knowing his competitive nature, will hopefully bring him back fresher and back to his best.

Not sure Klopp is looking at it like that though!

I'd say (ok, I'm hoping) the change of teammates and style of play over the next 2 weeks with Scotland will refresh him and he'll come back in good form.

Hmmm, attacking wise his crossing has been below par however most of the poor defending and threat is coming along the right hand side. TAA has been great going forward however if blame is being laid defensively on a full back, Robbo is not the one I’d be looking at. Again with TAA he may only be following instructions however I think Robertson is not a player I’d be looking to drop any time soon

There was 3 goals from a couple of games recently, I think Brighton and Athletico away, where the opposition scored and it was Robbo who didn't hold the line and was playing them onside.
Possibly it's happened more but I only noticed it those 3 times.

Fact is what our full backs do offensively is just as important as what they do defensively. Robertson is close to zero threat with his crossing, has been for a while and isn't that convincing defensively at the moment. At one point yesterday I was genuinely considering whether he'd be better off aiming for a West Ham player. I love the lad, but imo it's Tsimikas' turn,he's earned it.

It feels like we're always looking for the decline of someone in this squad and at different times this season it's been Hendo, Mane and now Robertson. Obviously a symptom of the high standards they've set themselves over the last 3 seasons and whilst I'm happy to see Tsimikas pushing him I'm not that convinced on dropping him either.

With the amount of games Robbo plays for us and the fact he plays pretty much every minute during the international breaks there will be plenty of opportunities for Tsimikas throughout the season though.

Looks like a Hamstring gone tonight. He's came off with 10 mims left.

Needs a rest anyway . Tsimikas deserves a run. Hopefully he’s back for the Xmas period.

Hate to see these threads bumped on an international week. Definitely in need of a rest but I'd rather it was on Jurgens terms than forced hopefully it's minor enough and he's back for the chaotic 2 months ahead.
