Lawyers from Mason Smyth and Fletcher are currently rubbing their hands with delight. That's a huge call, every club will a player that won't take it.
I know a young lad (under 25) who went to register for vaccine but was told not to get it on medical grounds. Had a previous reaction to some medication. Now he can't go out with his family as he won't be permitted into any premises.
You're asked this / similar in the questions before you get the first and second shot Not on registration
Looking at the poll results and just one person said they wouldn't be taking it. Anybody change their mind since either for or against?
Covid cert came today. Only got the second jab yesterday. All things considered, the vaccine roll out has been very good.
Was meant to get my second one nearly 2 weeks ago for the Pfizer. Never got the text or anything. Rang them up on the day, of the day I was meant to get it. Told me to ring them back on the Sunday. Rang them back on the Sunday and they told me to ring them back on the Thursday. Rang on Thursday and the lad from the HSE said be could see I was over due it, and he would escalate it, and it could take 5 business days and then I’d get a second appointment. Strange, hopefully the length in between vaccines won’t mean issues for me down the line .
You will be fine. Was study in UK, suggesting 8 weeks between 2 jags is meant be the best outcome. Weather they go down this route https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.rte.ie/amp/1236778/
It's been excellent as it would be anywhere where the effort was made, the biggest and most important part of a successful campaign was going to be getting Public buy in, giving vaccines is easy to organise and implement as long as supply is available. We've got a fairly moderate society without too many headbangers on either side and it's helped us avoid a massive pushback from anti vaccine groups. I think a lack of a hard right in Ireland and one of the biggest things ice found from the start is that the opposition are pretty much on board with how we've approached things (other than some issues with implementation which is fine) which has stopped us having a big opposition to the vaccine drive.
86% of adults have had at least one dose,71% fully vaccinated. That's a huge level of uptake especially when you consider we're still doing big numbers even day.
Got my second Moderna jab on Tuesday, fu*k me, I put down some 24hrs after it Glad its done now though. Got the Covid Passport, the following day
The vaccine roll out after a patchy start has been incredible The staff and volunteers deserve so much credit Great to see so many taking their opportunity to get the vaccine here too. Hopefully it can be rolled out around the world to the poorer countries.
