25 goals and 9 assists this season, can play across the front 3, playstyle likened to Alexis Sanchez. Always a bit nervous about strikers coming out of the Dutch league, granted theres been some genuine nuggets with Suarez, Van Nistelroy and Van Persie, theres also been some cabbages like Alfonsos Alaves, Kezman, and Vincent Jansen who looked like world beaters in the Dutch league but were hopelessly out of their depth in the PL.
I meant well by it, but I was very fond of Robbie. As Garrett said there's a knack for getting the ball in the net even though most of his goals seem to be hit straight at the keeper they somehow go in. I'd definitely like to see him get a run with us. I seen we were also supposedly link with Edourd from Celtic and he turned Jurgen down on the phone, his reasoning was he didn't think he'd get in the team. Which is fair enough, but how can you expect to succeed at the top level if you don't think you're at least one of the best at doing what you do? Isn't sport mostly ego driven?
The player’s agent, Humphry Nijman, has conducted an interview with Sport1 in which he invited offers from the Bundesliga champions. “Wijnaldum is a free transfer and keeps all options open,” Nijman explained. “FC Bayern is a great club. If you are interested in him, please feel free to speak to us.”
If Klopp actually wanted Adana Troare then this summer would be a good time to go get him. His price will have come down a good bit after a poor season and knowing Edwards we'd probably only end up paying 1m up front
It’s frustrating enough watching us waste chance after chance , think my head would explode with him .
Every time I watch him I get the opinion that all he wants to do is to leave himself as little room before the endline as possible and see if he can still beat the FB and get a rubbish cross in. Its like a personal little bet he has with himself. If he started half his runs/dribbles 25 yards from the end line, he's be very good - only going to very good as I doubt his crossing ability is going to vastly improved. Said it before - he reminds me of Milan Baros - head down and run like a nutter, and then be shocked when you run the ball out of play
I reckon he is a very good striker, he will get goals if he plays 30 + games a year in a decent side. A bit like Ings, Calum Wilson... however not sure he would be a great impact player of the bench or to come in for 1 game in 4. He was on Peter Crouch pod last week, great interview and he was talking about how much Biesla has improved him. Constantly working on movement in training and it’s only months later that has paid off. He is main man, plays every game and team is built around him. At other clubs he was in and out and he couldn’t get into that rhythm
See this exactly the same. Good player but not good enough to start for us. I can see Salah moving centrally as he gets older and signings up top will probably be players who can play across the front 3
That puts paid to that so, I just like looking at him playing football, himself, Grealish, Raphina, Foden (Unrealistic) would all be on this list too.
Leicester and Crystal Palace have checked with Liverpool regarding Naby Keita's situation. Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the situation closely. Liverpool would not be against a departure of the captain of Guinea
