Has been pretty poor since his return from injury, just hope he gets back up to his normal levels soon...
I thought he was quite good today on the ball especially. Definitely better than recent weeks anyways.
1 agree he was much better today and defensively gave little away , some people need to convince themselves because of their own confirmation bias
Hes really missing Henderson in the middle. Something cleary a miss with him - hopefully turns it around in the next few weeks. Sunday was an improvement
Thought he was a lot better Sunday myself. Looked like he had more energy. Defensively good apart from one sloppy corner concession. Like the rest of the team he's not attacking with the same flair as previous years but that will come.
While he was better against the Mancs he was still poor for me. Tonight he has me bald as I think I pulled the last few hairs I have left out with his aimless lazy looking crosses into the box, poor decisions, defensively getting done. On his game is brilliant at the moment he is terrible.
I think his team mates are pissing on his stats. He put 7 or 8 balls into great areas and nobody got near the end of them.
Heard Klopp say something along those lines in his interview, Didn't see it myself, thought his crossing and shooting was desperate last night.
Definitely the case sometimes, but last night there was a few times where he put crosses in when there was literally nobody there to receive it. Looks void of any ingenuity at the minute which is natural with where his confidence must be. Can't be undroppable though, if Jurgen doesn't fancy Neco Williams then put Milner in.
His work rate last night was better than most especially the last 20. Constantly wanted the ball, if a ball put in doesn't reach a red jersey it doesn't always make it a shite ball. The players not taken the right positions aren't helping. There were at least 3 low cut passes from close to the by line that not one player anticipated by dropping back instead making themselves piece of piss to mark. The passing, the movement and the positions taken up were all well worked and interlinked when we played like champions instead of looking like a team of players thrown together last week currently.
I thought he had a much better game today. One or two poor crosses but some really good ones and switching the attack was good. Still poor defending at the moment but wasn't helped by Mo much.
Much better last night , thought he made a big difference to the whole team’s performance. well done lad .
Delighted to see him play so well last night. Much more precise with his crossing, overlapping when necessary and a well taken goal. Hopefully he keeps this form up.
