I thought that my self but on the site it says below. Match Ticket : Season Ticket Holders who recorded Manchester City (04.04.18), FC Porto (06.03.18), Spartak Moscow (06.12.17), Maribor (01.11.17) AND Sevilla (13.09.17) Tickets will be available online from 1pm Wednesday 18 April. Tickets for this sale are subject to availability and we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available to all who apply. Please expect to queue at times. Which really worries me about number of tickets tomorrow.. not sure if all available seats get released for priority holders but if you look now there is 6 blocks in orange and rest red or sold.
Right. That almost contradicts the bit quoted on the previous page where they anticipate not enough for members on 5. For both statements to be true then it would suggest not many left for members on 5
The credits should have been set at 6 to include Hoffenheim, not 5, giving those with all 6 a better chance and then drop to 5 if any remaining. Don't feel one bit positive for the sale in the morning
Hoping they've held some back as there's not a whole lot up there at the moment and STH getting first dibs this afternoon.
Does anyone know how the Local General sale works ? Do you still need to have the same qualifying games as STH or do you just need an L postcode ?
L postcode and some form of proof that you live at the address ... electricity bill or something. Not holding out much hope for this sale at all. Anyone know what the hospitality capacity is? They’ve been sold out since the draw.
You also need to collect at the ticket office in person with id and proof of address for the local general.
And for a game like this it would make sense to put some criteria or credits even on the local sale. Madness that someone could buy a ticket for this and not ever been to game.
You might be onto something there Lionel, they're also giving us 5,000 tickets for the away leg James Pearce@JamesPearceEcho #LFC given 5,000 tickets for Roma away in the CL semi. £73 each. Chelsea fans were only charged £44.50 for their group stage game away to Roma back in October.
Just for the craic of it I went on to youtube to see if I could see how many fans Roma brought to Anfield in March 2002. They only took a very small allocation for that match. However that really should not be a barometer in any way to judge whether they will take the full allocation this time round. 17 matches from the start of the group stage then to win it compared with 13 matches now. Massive difference in the importance of that match compared with the semi-final next Tuesday. Much more readily available travel now as well compared with 16 years ago. Good luck to all trying to buy in the morning. Sadly I think many of us will be disappointed. If you had asked me at the start of the campaign would this be the case for members with full credits, I would have thought no chance with the increased capacity from when Liverpool were last involved at the serious end of the competition. The size of the Uefa allocation for them and their sponsors was a real eye opener as I had no recollection of such large numbers being taken away from ordinary supporters back then. Of course the H&G deal for the former share holders was also in it's infancy as well back them.
Just over 3,000 From before the 1/4 final https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/loyal-liverpool-fans-miss-out-14458511
They have never included qualifiers so why start now . Lots of spare cards available for the hoffenheim game plus loads of freebies so why should ppl who bought just for the credit get priority over those who actually went to a few games.
The semi against Chelsea in 05 eventually went down to 2 credits and we have 10k more seats can never get my head around that.
