Bound to be a few big moves around Europe this summer that we'll be wanting to discuss so we might aswell chuck em all in here instead of giving them their own individual threads.

I'll get the ball rolling-seen today that Mario Gomez is Bayern bound and we've known for a week or so about Diego heading to Juve.

Sad every summer to see every decent striker in the German League being snapped up by Bayern Munich-theyre overloaded with them.Podolski was deemed surplus to requirements even though hes streets ahead of Gomez imo.

Diego to Juve. 21 million. Good news in that they wont move for Xabi Alonso.

Former Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will take charge of the club again on 1 June because the only other candidate still in the race will be unable to lodge the required bank guarantee of £50.3m. (Spanish newspaper AS) :(:(

If he's to go surely it's the more threats the better hence a bidding war driving his value up?

If £5M is the price then absolutely ... he's had a very strange year that guy, joined Inter and great things were expected but has lost his way badly...

He could be a quality player but something isn't right with him. Maybe he is homesick ... the spanish lads in our squad could help him though..

Although two chances of Mourinho letting him join Liverpool for £5M !!!!

Id leave him alone being honest. lots of rumours in the past about buying him,but thank **** we didnt. he was voted the worst player in seria A last season with inter, mourinho wrote him off,and left him on the bench most of the time. and its happened to him again at chelsea..where hiddink would even prefer deco to him(and hes shit as well).if Rafa paid £5mill for him it would be a big shock imo.

What about Marco Van Basten going to AC Milan, successful ex player who could maybe do a job there. Word of Leonardo moving downstairs to take over as Manager.

Sky Sports News understands Steve Bruce is in talks to become the new manager of Sunderland, with the North East outfit having agreed a compensation package with Wigan.

The two clubs have been engaged in discussions over the weekend, as Sunderland bid to convince Wigan to release the services of a manager who guided them to an impressive 11th place last season.

Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn had hoped to make an announcement on Sunday night and although that self-imposed deadline has passed, it is expected an official statement will be made imminently.

The Black Cats have been on the lookout for a new boss since Ricky Sbragia stepped down from the post after successfully retaining the club's top-flight status on the last day of the season.

Wigan chairman Dave Whelan has made no secret of his admiration for Bruce and will be loath to part company with a man he rates as one of the top managers in the country.

It is expected Sunderland will have to pay significant compensation to their North West counterparts, with Whelan having asked for a £3million fee.
