    If this happens, it can only be classed as a positive for the club....

    We never really got over the King leaving us, but the signs of recovery are there now with Rafa there.
    King Kenny sitting alongside him would be a great step.

    Maybe not sitting beside him, as Sammy deserves his place, but to have the King involved can only be positive for everyone.

    great to have links to the past and can only be a help when tempting new young talent to the club,hard to say no to a legend.

    Rafa knows how to please the fans, first Robbie, now Kenny.
    I hope Sami gets a coaching role when he finishes up aswell...and bring Robbie back down the line too.
    I hope Kenny plays a big role whatever he does.
    Legend and important that he's a Benitez fan.

    may even be a great mental boost to players also

    God this is exciting. Thought I was seeing things when I read the title. Would be interesting to see exactly what his role will be but this can only be good for us! Wow, can't believe this!

    Kenny has one thing that he'd bring to Anfield, and thats the knowledge of winning the top flight league in England with 2 different clubs.

    Sure, the game has changed, but his experiences will be vital.

    Incredible news!!!Over the moon-hope to God this comes true.A man of Kennys stature will bring even more confidence and a winning mentality to our team as well as giving the academy the kick up the arse it needs.Reading Fowlers autobiography was a real eye opener to the way Kenny ran things and treated young players-hed be a superb addition.

    The good old days are on the horizon once again boys and girls-i can taste it!
