Anyone tried The "Sony Reader" ?

    I've been intrigued by them (and other similar products) over the last few months. I don't know much about the quality of them or features but in my general experience, new technology takes a good year to find it's feet and actually become an impressive product worth what they charge for it (eg. Mp3 players were pretty basic for the first few years. Look at them now.).

    I can see them being a lot sleeker and probably have touch screen next year. Also, it says you can listen to music while you read on it. It probably only comes with 20Mb harddrive space (that's the minimum stated on the site). Good luck getting more than 4 songs on that. You'll need to buy more memory cards to boost the capacity.

    It's certainly a cool idea but I wouldn't jump at buying one of these now personally.

    I'd agree with Andrew.

    Great idea, wait for the next generation model if they release one.
