Great result saturday, obviously I hope we build on from this and start putting some good performances together with good results.

    1 nil to pool, torres.

    :)

I think we'll fire 3 or 4 past these... Get off to a flyer. I'd really love to see Robbie break his duck.

    Come on lads.:):):):)

According to the official site, Aurelio did not travel because of a calf injury, but everyone else seems there! (bar Sami of course!)
Masch has travelled, so hopefully his injury mightnt be too bad. I have a feeling Lucas may start instead of him either anyways...just my gut feeling.

Liverpool squad: Reina, Cavalieri, Arbeloa, Degen, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Dossena, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Benayoun, Babel, Lucas, Riera, Kuyt, Torres, Keane.

Yeah, I keep saying he's going to score in the next game. Maybe I should shut up and his luck might change :D

marseille drew 1-1 away from home at the weekend and are only 2 points off lyon, dont think it will be a formality but think we have the momentum now to get the win,a 2-0 victory will do nicely.

Marseille are not the team they used to be; neither is the French League in general. Can't see why we couldn't get 3 points out of this match

Yeah I think you are putting the moan on him D red!!:D. You and me both, I keep saying the same thing. Ah we are all dying for him to get a goal, as he is himself I'm sure!. It'll come don't you worry, and then there'll be no stopping him;)

Marseille tommorrow night- feeling very confident after Saturday's great win obviously, and am looking forward to see if they can put in a similar performance. I hope so.
We should get the win anyway.

Tough game so Benitez will probably look for a 0-0 and a point. He'll be happy with that.

I agree. And especially after Saturday's performance I think we'll definitely have the drive and confidence to bag all three points.

Both sides are flying in the leagues at the moment, and it will be an intimidating atmosphere. Would be happy to take a point, and I reckon Rafa will as well.

i think a draw would be a decent result.avoid defeat away from home and then win the home games.in saying that we have the ability to go and win if we go there with an attacking mentality.unlikely we will though in the first away game of the group in my view

We knocked Marseille out of the CL last season, Marseille knocked us out of Europe completely 4 years ago. With both sides in form, the game tonight is very hard to call, so I'll sit on the fence and settle for a point.

I think a draw wouldnt be a disaster, but really hope we are ballsy enough to play for the win. Might be a few stiff legs after all the running around on Saturday, but we should be good enough to win here. So I'm gonna go for a 1 or 2-0 result to the reds.
