    hi all looking for a bit of help,ive been playing battlefield 2142 since it came out,and i got call of duty 4,but it seems my pc doesnt have enough power to run c o d properly,when i do play it the figures are very dark so i have to keep playing around with settings.if some one can tell me what i need in pc to play tis,ie g card,ram eg eg eg, many tanks

    Post up your computer spec and we will have a look.

    What do you mean the figures are very dark? Is it the same for all games? Do you see a high level of detail in the graphics?

    I'm not too well up on Games requirements to be honest. Check out the website for both games- I'd guess there should be a "MInimum Hardware Requirements" spec for each game. See if there is much difference between the two.

    Have a look at boards.ie - there are sections there dedicated to gaming etc. They're sure to help you there.

    You've a decent spec there. The only doubt I would see is the video ram is 512mb and the NVidia card (especially the onboard chip) isnt bad, but its not great either and with newer games it can take more video ram.

    I'll presume you dont have a laptop and are playing on the battery power? If so, plug in the juice and see if it helps.

    so wat ur saying is id be better updating card and getting more video ram?
