    Anyone using NTL broadband might want to take a look at the link below
    they say they will increase your speed within 24 hours after submitting the form.
    Increases from 1Mb to 3Mb, 3Mb to 10Mb and 6Mb to 20Mb ..you do have to sign up for another 12 month contract.i'm on a 6Mb line

    Gone from 512k with crappy irish broadband to ntl 15 to 16 mb in 6 months. It's great espeically for Xbox Live.

    I got a text from UPC today saying I had been upgraded from 15mb to 20mb.
    Anyone else get this? It didn't say it was a free upgrade and I never requested it:confused:

    I checked my speed and it was 17.5 download, 1.5 upload.

    Same here,nothing wrong with that.Leaving eircom was one of the best things I have done.

    Sound. They usually notify me before any free upgrades so I was worried when this one came out of the blue.

    Give them a ring, they should upgrade it for you. if not just tell them to cancel it..they will upgrade then.

    Got the 10 mb with them maybe a year ago, had the free upgrade to 15 a few months ago and got the txt to 20mb yesterday, best switch I ever made was from eircom 3mb for the same price!

    Anyone try doing a speed test to see what kind of speeds they are getting since the upgrade? I've found the line going down a lot more since the last upgrade.

    reckon they would give me a free upgrade if I joined? Im cancelling my contract with Wiimax in the morning. Is there a download cap with these?

    i'm sure everyone will be moved up as they have it set as 10gb 20 gb and 30gb i think they also do 100gb. Unlimited downloads from 20 and higher. well so they say anyway.

    I got about the same reading on that site....then i ran the test on the upc website,and they have been economical with the truth,the reading was over 18mb!
