    This time 8 years ago I was drinking champagne, vodka and redbull to get us going for the day. Best 'unofficial'...**** it my wife and kids can't see this, BEST OFFICIAL DAY OF MY LIFE!!!(well joint equal #guiltyconscious)

    The dubs winning the all Ireland in 2011 is up there but this was the greatest night of my life.I was there with me da so that made it extra special.

    I got sent home from school on purpose on this day for wearing the wrong shoes. I didn't think my Ma would send me back in with the right ones.

    Brilliant day. When Xabi scored the penalty I threw my Ma around 10 ft across the room.

    Amazing. just thinking, this time 8 years ago I had my Kebab and water for breakfast to clear the head, had a little Mosque sight seeing done and was back at the hotel, waiting to be picked up to go to the stadium.

    It was a mental day from start to finish, not just 6 minutes of madness ... it all started with what I can only discribe as the wackey races getting to the stadium. All the Turks out waving at all the Liverpool fans going to the stadium on Busses, Taxis, Bikes and foot. Insane journey to a stadium!

    Still sends a shiver down my spine. When I'm having a bad day I just watch the highlights and it never fails to put a smile on my face.

    From 8.50 to 8.56 tonight I'll stop and remember the craziest 6 minutes of my life.

    I watched it in my local, a night i will never ever forget. That local is long gone and has been renovated into a horrible soulless place under the same ownership, the atmosphere that night will never be forgotten though.

    Well seeing we went on and on about Istanbul yesterday, might as well mention the biggest and longest home coming ever. I got back abar 1.30pm and straight into town after dropping my lad off at home, didn't know what time I would be coming home the time it took the team to get into town. Great 48 hours and not forgetting what we did on the Bank Holiday Monday at the Pumphouse at the Albert Dock, Only LFC can give you stuff like this, the rest of the Country just dream and try to do it and fail.
