I'm raising money for Our Lady's Hospital in Crumlin as a friend's child was very ill last year and with the help, support and care received in Crumlin, she is now well on the way to recovery. In order to raise much needed funds I have elected to do this reverse auction and a sky-dive in June. All support is greatly appreciated by this charity. This auction is being run to help raise funds for OUR LADY'S HOSPITAL, CRUMLIN – The National Referral Centre for children who are suffering from serious illness such as Cancer, Leukaemia, Spina Bifida and Cystic Fibrosis. With your contribution medical research will be funded so that all of our children can look forward to a brighter future. How do you play? The idea of a*reverse*auction*is that a player aims to be the lowest bidder on an item, and the bid in cent has to be one which no other player has made i.e. the lowest*unique*bid. What is the lowest unique bid? The lowest unique bid is the lowest bid placed that has not been duplicated by any other player. What happens if there is no lowest unique bid? If there is no lowest unique bid, the next lowest unique bid would be the lowest number with the least amount of bids that was placed, the winner being whomever bid this figure first... How to donate Each bid will cost €5 or a special offer of 5 bids for €20. Payment can be made by direct bank transfer, bank lodgement or Paypal. My paypal address is*rourky24@hotmail.com.* (Tick gift to avoid fees on paypal.) Payment to reach my account by 5pm on Monday, April 30th. I will contact the successful bidder as soon as possible on Monday.
Fair play to you Rourky, very generous thing to do. Top prize for a great cause. I'll get a donation to you tomorrow.
