OK, this is the big one, us against them.

Since alot of us want the league more than the CL im hoping we get through tuesday easy enough, nice early goal or two then sub stevie, torres and carra again save them for this one.

Utd flying high and playing well, us not playing great but still there or thereabouts.

Rafa knows this has to be win for us, fans expectaction and the yanks coming over.

Dont think there will be many goals in this, im thinking 1-0 torres and im hoping we play a formation something along the line of this:

    Reina,
    Finnan, Carra, Agger, Arbeloa,
    Babel, Mascherano, Lucas, Kewell,
    Gerrard
    Torres

    What we reckon?

Would go with that team except Riise for Arbeloa, Gerrard in the centre of midfield and Crouch up front

We only beat Toulouse narrowly out there a few months ago, and lost to Marseille at home. The atmosphere will be partizan, the confidence will be dented after Saturday, and Marseille are a good side. Forget talk of easy rides. Tuesday night's game is going to be just as hard as Sunday's.

can't wait for this now. Very difficult game to call. I expect us to be more adventurous at home like we were last season at anfield. But we have the might torres and crouchasaurous. RAAAAAAAR

    reina
    finnan cara sami arbeloa
    gerard masch lucas babel
    kuyt
    torres

just think we need a player who can really pick a pass from a deep position. I miss alonso <3

Can't wait for this now, I'm fairly confident about it. Although I won't say that to any Mancs, who as ever are cock-sure of themselves. I always have this awful nagging feeling ahead of these game all the same.

If we can win our next 2 league games we are laughing. Beating Yernited would get us right back in the mix, while following it up with a win against Pompey would see us move away from the group of teams just below the top-4 places.

After such a great result, I reckon Rafa should not make two many changes.

Finnan in at RB with Arbeloa in to nail that winker Ronaldo

For me Babel at the moment is better as an impact player, so start with Kewell.

It will be nearly six years to the day when Danny Murphy got the goal when we won at their place for the first time since early 90's.

i think the team will more or less pick itself for this one. the only position in doubt for me is who will play along side torres?

    reina

    finnan carra hyppia arbeloa
    benayoun gerrard mascherano kewell
    torres crouch/kuyt

I'd go along with that, and Babel to come off the bench (again) and score a late goal (again).

    finnan carra hyppia arbeloa
    benayoun gerrard mascherano riise
    torres crouch

I think rafa might put jar on left midfield to stop that orange fake tan muppet ronaldo. and to score another rocket of a goal.
I wouldn't mind seein babel startin either.
2-0 to the reds.torres and yossi.

    -----------Reina-------------------
    arbeloa ----carra ----hyypia -----riise
    benayoun -- gerrard - mascherano--kewell
    -----------kuyt torres--------------

Thought last night's line up was probably the strongest available and if Finnan, Agger and Alonso are still injured then I'd like to see the same team again on Sunday..

    Subs
Crouch - Hasn't looked his best alongside Torres
Babel - looks dangerouse through the middle
    Hobbs - Needed for cover

That was my 12th birthday, I was in the pub with my family and a few United following mates. Magical! :D

I can't wait to beat these on Saturday. I hope Agger is back, and Alonso. Start Kewell, and then Torres and Kuyt up front?

i can see us pulling off a big result on sunday and im backing them to win 3-0.....just have this hunch........seemingly utd's defence has been untouchable this season.......bull......they havent been properly tested apart from arsenal and we saw what happened there......ronaldo wont hack the atmosphere and rooney couldnt score if he tried......
    3-0 to the pool........
