IMO its what we need, reina carra stevie torres are indispensable but everything else is fair game as far as im concerned
We need to look at where we are been hit every game 1st Ger and that's at CB we need someone who is commanding and is not afraid of a tackle I think Cahill would be a great aquistion in there alongside Carra for a season to learn from him. I agree with you in that every player bar the ones you mention can be shipped out but defo a CB 1st then look at the front end wingers strikers etc but who will want to go?
darren our defence is shocking at best, our midfield wont tackle and our wide men wont stay wide, its a horrible team bar a couple of lads, heartless cnuts they come across as sometimes
Agree We are a club in transition there is no 2 ways about it. Getting rid of players whom have'nt cut it & replacing them with top quality is the tricky part.Only hope the the new owners & staff are up to it. We need imo 1 marquee signing in this window just to show some intention to make the team better.

I agree 6/7 players are needed, the squad is awful, were paying for the last 3 summers of 2 managers buying shit, people need to get this idea that tomkins and the likes was peddling of it's the same squad that finished 2nd,it's not. Arbeloa Hyppia Alonso Mascherano Yossi, and even Riera although I didn't rate him he did play most of that season are gone, all replaced with inferior players. Big changes needed, £100m needs to be spent half of which I believe can be raised in sales. That £100m needs to be spent alot better than the last £100m, fcuk this net spend shit, wether people like it or not between the last 2 managers they wasted a fortune in last 3 summers, brave decisions need to be taken with axing players and I think the new regime will do it. Spend this money correctly and with the crop of kids we've coming through we won't need to spend big again, and will be fitting in nicely with UEFA rules and hopefully back in the top 4 within 2 years

First place id strengthen is at the back. I deally we probably need 2 centre halfs and a left back. Maybe Kelly could fill one of the centre half roles. Skrtel and the Greek need to be phased out over the summer

Not been smart but what are 7 players needed for? To win the league, get into the top 4 or just to halt the slide? Same question for you Trucker? IMO we are only 3 player short of top 4, Ashley Young, Suarez and a left back would be enough for top 4 next year.
We need a left back, we need a centre half that does get bullied like Agger and that total donkey Skertel, a holding midfielder with energy as yesterday again showed how exposed our back four is now that mascherano has taken his place on the bench at the Nou Camp, a winger, a creative midfielder as Alonso hasn't been replaced and a striker. Without that happening in the next 2 windows we won't see CL for a good few year
In a dream world: Left back - Coentrao Winger(left or right) - Hazard and Marko Marin Playmaker who can take the ball off the back line we already have one in Suso but if we could get anyone back Alonso would it be it. Striker which looks like Suarez now Centre Half - not too many around that would say is top class but off the top of my head Jan Verthongen from Ajax would be at the top of my list
As long as we continue to concede simple goals, even if we improve our attacking players, we will always be close to defeat so first and foremost I now think we actually need a quality centre back who can dominate and command the rest of them back there. Then we need a new Striker, then a CM and then 2 wingers. How bad Dirk Kuyt has become without anybody mentioning it is beyond belief, the lad is apalling.
Yeah he ran around a lot alright but the ball bounced off him every time it went to him and he didnt beat a man once (bar a nice dummy on the touchline second half but he failed to get on the end of it anyway), got no decent crosses in and has zero pace to trouble people. Thought he was terrible yesterday. Slows everything down every time it goes out to him and IMO he has been as abd as anyone for us so far this year.
