For those who haven't heard of him, Bradley Manning is a 22 year old intelligence analyst in the US Army, who is currently imprisoned awaiting trail for leaking classified documents to the website http://wikileaks.org/. There have been calls from some US senators to try him for treason, and duly give him the death penalty. His crime was releasing documented evidence of US war crimes, including the 2007 Baghdad air strike. I've included a link to the 'Collateral Murder' video below, it just gives an indication of the type of information that Manning is on trial for leaking. I dont know how he could be found guilty anyway, I can understand operations being classified as they are ongoing but no government should be able to hide behind confidentiality or 'the public interest' if they are carrying out war crimes. Typical US double standard another country is involved in war crimes they are all for invading, capturing and killing people but when they do it they try and hide behind paperwork. This man/women should be given a medal for exposing them not jailtime.
