I ask myself this question quite a lot of times. no don't switch off now; what I am getting at is this. I was born in Liverpool and have supported them most of my life, they are the only club in England I have supported. they are a great club, the fans are the best in the world, we proved that in Istanbul when it was the fans that lifted our team at half time, no dressing room chat, no gee up by the manager or anything else, except maybe it was written in the stars that year, for when we were 3 down people still went out and backed us to win. But what is left of Liverpool now; the Liverpool I grew up supporting; very little. From a squad of 30 players; my God we have 30 players in our first team squad and rafa wants to buy more; good gracious me that's crazy. But from this huge squad i think we have 8 english players and just a couple of home grown players. Our manager is foreign and now so too are the people that own us, body and soul. Hinge and Bracket as i like to call them are from the Americas. They know less about the soul of our football then we know about them, the only thing they comment on are the wonderful fans; that's us again. I won't write any more as I don't want to take up too much of your time; but I will be back.
because genuine liverpool supporters actually care about other supporters and like you said were the best supporters and no matter what we still cheer week in week out
Irishpaddy, Im not quite sure what your post is meant to be about. Are you complaining about the foreign influence at the club?
