    Have no problem with Blair.
He acted on the information which he had at the time. Ultimately it may have proved incorrect but less lives have been lost in Iraq since the end of Saddams regime that were being lost before it, and the world is a better and safer place without him in power.

As for the people creating a scene outside Easons, they should be embarrassed.

No chance, how many times was it found out to be the wrong information? It was all about money and power, not saving the world,. Saddam is gone, and yet they are still over there killing women and children, so come down off it will ya,.

Tree hugging liberal gypsy type idiots outside Easons. They're only after some headlines and a bit of trouble.

Saw Blair on the Late Late. Nice to see the other side of him for a change. Great interview and good to see that he has stuck to his opinion on Iraq when too many have turned against him because they don't understand the situation and fail to see the bigger picture.

It was like when Cowen got interviewed, and it looked like it was a grilling, none of the questions seemed to shock them or catch them off guard, its all pre organised, with what Tubridy can and cant say,.

The Late Late isn't really the type of show for grilling politicians. It's more casual chat about a bit of everything.

Matt Cooper did an interview with Blair yesterday and it will be on Today FM on Monday evening. That will probably be slightly more of a grilling....

I understand exactly what these gypsies are up to. I said that they're only after some headlines and a bit of trouble. They just need an excuse to shout abuse or to throw things at people because they're bored on a Saturday morning. I don't take them seriously.

A 24 year old tried to make a citizens arrest on Blair inside Easons for war crimes in Iraq. She would have been 4 during the first Gulf War, and 15 when the current situation really started. I wouldn't be taking her too seriously either. Although she may be genius on the subject, it really sounds to me that she's a tree-hugger/protest-against-anything type.

This thread is about the incident at Easons yesterday morning.

What's happening all over the Middle East is a very real and serious issue. I lived there for several years and experienced up close their very different way of life, but more importantly the politcal systems in place. I strongly believe in the reasons for the Iraq invasion in 2003 to topple Sadam's regime. And although there is a huge amount of different opinion on what has gone on, that may be justified and fair, I wouldn't pay much attention to the antics of these clowns on O'Connell Street. When Richard Boyd Barrett turns up to support anything then that usually says it all to me!!

He was wrong on Iraq, however he played a big part in bringing peace to this Island. If the Tories had stayed in power, I am not so sure things would have panned out the way they are in the north now. I am not saying eveything is rosey now either, however Blair put a lot of focus on trying to sort the issues out.
