Europa League final tickets ????

    Lads does anyone know how to apply for Europa League final tickets. ( not counting my chickens but with it in our doorstep) Do UEFA do the a lottery for final tickets like the Champions league. Any help would be appreciated.... THANKS... Mark...

    It'll be January or February before they open the ballot, same format as Champions League ballot.

    As far as i know the 'local' community get a lottery sale before the UEFA sale based on Hamburg last year

    The March there will be one for everyone outside the local community (ie) everyone but people with address in Ireland

    Not certain but thats my understanding

    Last year the ballot opened on the 24th February.

    But prior to that in January there was a ticket sale exclusively for German citizens only. I don't how many tickets were available. I will be keeping an eye on FAI.com to see if there is a similar sales process this year.

    If I were you I'd keep an eye on www.uefa.com instead Lionel, the FAI website probably won't update such an announcement until the end of August 2011 :rolleyes:

    Wont be applying for them ballot tickets as hopefully will quailify thru the club.

    Applied for the cl final in 05 and 07 and both times got sorted for 2.

    i e mailed the fai and the reply i got was that as far as the fai are concerned uefa deal with the tickets for it but if they get an allocation for sale they will publish the deatils as soon as they do

    The Ballot usually starts in Feb, and i think a decision is made by Arpil if you have won them or not, as thats what happened to me last year when i got my Ueffa Cup final tickets..

    I got email yesterday saying my ballot was successful and my credit card has been debited.

    Also got my two yesterday,just hope we get there now. At least there wont be a need to gamble on flights this time!
