Lookin at the Aussies and All Blacks game at d mo on SKY, two big favourites for the world cup. In saying that do you think with the squad Ireland have can they actually win the World Cup in Frace this Autumn??
For a while there I was hopeful but I've been watching the Kiwi's in the tri-nations & they are just awesome, although I didn't see today's match. I did back them at 14/1 I think, can't find the docket now that I think of it. Being realistic the semis is about the height of our ambition, but at tht stage who knows. I'm looking forward to it whatever the outcome.
Hi I'll be hoping for great things, we have perhaps our best ever chance to win it imho. Nonetheless, the All Blacks, Ausies, French and Argintina are all quality sides & not to be messed with .... thereafter, we must remain mindful of the likes of England, even if they have not been at their best in recent years. A little luck and who knows ... I think the fact that we are playing in Europe is important, as timezones, climates etc all play their part also me thinks
I may be crazy but I dont see new zealand doing it. I backed south africa a year ago at 10/1. Mad odds I thought. New Zealand have best players, bar none, but are mentally questionable. Ireland, I fear will do well to get out of group. I think we will but it will be difficult. Semis will be France, oz. south africa and all blacks. Toss up between th e aussies and south africans I think.
That could end up being a very good call ger, the boks have really improved over the last 12 months & you might be right about the all blacks mental frailty.
