    Hopefully the players that were away on international's come without any injuries and we'll have a fairly fit squad and with wigan relaying there pitch hopefully it'll be ok for us to play some nice attacking football

    If Agger fit think Rafa will go with ....maybe maxi for yossi ?

    Hard to call what Rafa will go with after players been away and if Agger will be risked ?
    Maybe Maxi For Yossi but think he is best on the right .... Did Maxi play Wednesday night ?

    And then give Babel and Pacheco a run for at least 30 minutes.
    Wigan are a good team when they have the ball and a poor team when they don't. So don't let them have the ball and we should have no problems :D

    First time in a while that there is serious competition for places. Kuyt,Maxi,Riera,Yossi,Babel all fighting for two winger positionsand great to see El Nino back! My preffered team would be:

    Reina
    Macherano Carra Skrtel Aurelio
    Lucas Gerrard
    Kuyt Maxi Yossi
    Torres​


    Agger injured then think Mach could slot int right back agai and would maybe pull Stevie back into centre midfield for the game because I think the Maxi Torres combination could really work.
    However think Rafa will play:
    Reina
    Carra Kyriagkos Skrtel Insua
    Macherano Lucas
    Kuyt Stevie Yossi
