Would start with the same team that start with the same team if all fit that started on Sunday , maybe Aquilani for Lucas or if masch not fit and kuyt on the bench depending on who fit. This time lads if Aquilani on the pitch keep the ball on the ground . lad doesn't like piggy in the middle....

To be honest, I'd take a 1-0. I think it's more important for us to keep a clean sheet than scoring too many. Our confidence at the back is shot and a clean sheet is well needed.
Lets be honest folks does it really matter what bunch we send out at the moment? we have lacked clout in front of goal and to be honest have been enormously unlucky with one thing or another. i keep saying to myself that someone is going to get a hiding but until we take our chances we will get hit with the sucker blow and confidence will plummet. Wigna is a game not for the faint hearted. We need to pull our heads out our backsides and get stuck in. Surely the team will want to make up for the second half against Arsenal which was amongst one of the worst i remember. Gerrard and Torres need to get on their game and stop sulking about, stop trying to do too much and have confidence in your team mates. i don't know what to say for a starting 11 other than we really should be beating wigan at home. I also wish we had an option instead of Kuyt but Pacheco won't be thrown in and Babel and Riera even if fit have shown no desire this season. Unless this team is prepared to fight for themselves, the club and supporters we will continue to be beaten by clubs who show more desire and a killer instinct.
A defeat here doesn't even bear thinking about unfortunately if we don't score early in the game i think the crowd might get on the teams back and the longer the game stays 0-0 it definitely wont help a team lacking in confidence in their ability..very disappointing the way we just gave up against arsenal second half when they put it up to us after such a good first half..come on reds we deserve a fighting spirited display tomorrow night and 3 points is a must.

We have a back 4 of Glen Cara Agger Insua , that haven't conceded a goal and have kept 4 clean sheets ..... taking into account we have had 16 different defensive combinations ... Even though i want Aurelio as left back ... Insua in the back 4 seems the way forward and ive always though Agger and Cara are our best combination for this season .. Get a settled back 4 and imo things will fall into place ..
