Megson confirmed as new Bolton boss

    Bolton have confirmed the appointment of Gary Megson as manager on their official website. He has signed a two-and-a-half year contract.

    After leaving Leicester to move to Lancashire, he will take charge of the struggling side for the first time on Sunday when they face Aston Villa at home.

    Chairman Phil Gartside said: “We feel Gary is the right man to take Bolton forward.â€

    Only a few weeks at Leicester. Don't think he'll stop Bolton going down.
