Suprised there is No Thread on him in the LFC Section.I know there is one in the transfer section but thats done and dusted now, so thought it create one in here.

Any way from todays press conference.

Jordan Henderson: It's a big game v Sunderland but I have to treat it like any other game. Hopefully it's my PL debut for Liverpool.

Wonder will he Play on Saturday. He played centre Midfield and Right wing for Sunderland last season, wonder which position he will play for us.I think it will be more on the right, but opportunties would be limited as thats Dirks Spot.

Whats peoples thoughts on him and where he'll play?

Said it before the game and will say it again, there is no way he should of been ahead of Kuyt for yesterdays game.

I think when we essentially play a midfield 4 Henderson is the man. I don't think Kuyt ever really performs in that role ( in a 4231 or 433) its a different matter.

I was really pleased when we signed Henderson as he's a player iv always liked and is quite 'continental' in his game. The lad can play a great tucked in role which will work best with Johnson in the team and overlapping

I'd say it'll very much be a case if rotation with Henderson being preferred in a flat 4. Id be very surprised though if Kuyt doesn't start v arsenal

Thought he done ok in the first half.In the second half he seemed to fade away. That thug cattermole was at him all day.Still he is only 20 so i wouldnt be cursing him yet.

Looked exceptionally quite on Saturday. Wasnt easy on him playing his first game at Anfield, his old club...and he's only a nipper aswell.
Would have preferred if we didnt sign him yet..other areas are needed, and Gerrard still has a few season left.

I'm not sure what if anything he actually does. He looks tidyish in possession but he seemed to lose every 50/50 today.

I don't want to pick on the lad, i'm sure he'll be a good player for us but for me he seems to be playing because of his price tag at the minute.

I'd have Raul starting over him anywho.

I agree he wasn't up to much today as well as last week.
You can throw in pre-season also...

But he's got a good engine on him, and I've no doubt he'll come good some day.

The price tag seems to see him starting each week, but that same price tag may seem like an albatross around his neck also.

He's only a young lad and the expectations must be pretty big for him to do well.
Hopefully we'll see some better performances from him in the coming weeks.

I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt right now.
We may not see the best of him until the middle of the season, or possibly next year.

Thought he was poor enough too.Not quite sure what his strengths are yet for us but was very ordinary in the 1st two games.

Have to agree with your point and Jockser's, really not sure where he fits into the whole scheme of things.

    Time will tell.
