Steven Gerrard. Our best of all time? Could have left time and time again for better teams, who could have won trophies. Kenny had wondrous players around him.
There should be statues of Stevie all the way down the Walton Breck Road

agree you have to feel for him surrounded by so many poor players. and when we do have a few decent ones around him they leave

Billy Liddell played with far worse players if all history is to be believed.

Gerrard in out top 5 for sure or not?

I better go check what other damage I've done. I have a vague recollection of starting a thread entitled "vaginal or anal sex? You decide" somewhere

Terrible news if true. But hopefully he'll benefit greatly if he has the next 4 months off.

Its been a tough stop-start season for him, he's never got near top form

He felt something on Friday, don't think its the same area of the groin but it's enough for him to need treatment ...

All the newspapers are carrying the story that Stevie is out for the rest of the season but of course there are no direct quotes from anything I have seen.

48 days and 7 games until the end of the season and with the injury problems you have to be worried.

What a contrast 10 years ago when a young Stevie was making a name for himself in the treble winning squad. In the 48 days at the end of the season Liverpool played 14 times during that period.

This could be blessing in disguise IMO.Stevie has struggled with injury the last couple of seasons. We should use this opportunity to build him up and have him fully fit and ready to go for the new campaign. This season is a write anyway.

Don’t forget Gerrard was quite injury prone in his formative years in the squad and took a while to get to the stage of being injury free.

Jesus just shows how weak the team is in depth need to get in quality players durin the summer not just squad players but QUALITY and get rid of alot of the dead weight hang around...tink Stevie shud be given a rest now till end of season or maybe a run out before the end but he has struggled all season long suppose all the goins on at the club didn't help either.
