Liverpool have now scored 4 goals or more in 11 games this season. Which is a new Premier League record.
If Brendan Rodgers can win the Premier League title with Liverpool this season, some of his fellow managers will not be happy. While José Mourinho and Manuel Pellegrini have been bickering over whose club is more like a little horse and Arsène Wenger has been complaining about the way his rivals spend their money, Rodgers has been accelerating past them with a team that is paid less money but wins more matches and scores more goals. Liverpool pay their players handsomely – on average €4.1 million per man per year – but those figures are some way short of the annual salaries paid by Arsenal (€4.72 million), Chelsea (€4.83 million), Manchester United (€5.21 million) and Manchester City (€6.4 million). http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soc...heap-to-employ-at-just-over-4m-each-1.1763277
What are the reasons behind the treadmill Enrique is on in that photo? (before some smartass says i know he's injured )
Its an anti gravity treadmill which reduces impact on joints. I used one of them before and its like running in the sky
Its grand at start until you reduce your weight and I got a bit wobbly on my feet for about 15 seconds but quickly over come thatn and the more you reduce your weight every time I felt like I had to be reaching to touch the treadmill belt but again this fixes itself naturally and away you go. Its just so light and no impact and you can easily go faster than what you think you are doing. There is a max speed of 12 or 13 if I remember correctly and only allowed upto 80% of body weight to be removed as other that rhat you will apparently be a human misile.
**** all this talk of improving our defence, we should just add more goals and get better at wat were good at. No point trying to build the perfect team. Were an attacking team set up to out score our opponents, we are excellent at doing this. I think people forget this sometimes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Was thinking this myself earlier We could add a 20 foot wall to the defence and it wont make much difference...we'll still end up with another 3 points after every game.
Really miss the double-header Easter programme - when titles were won or lost in 3 days ! Usually won
I'm open to correction on this one... but I think since the PL started, the winners always finished in the top 2 the previous season, except for 3 occasions when they came from 3rd to win it the following year. We're coming from 7th....7th!!! Another example of the monumental achievement it will be to win it this year.
