Hi, I'd agree. Willie, I was in the Ilac about 4-6 weeks ago, probably the first time in about 3 years and was plesantly surprised to be honest mate ... it's definitely had a littlel lift in recent years and had plenty of punters wandering around with shopping bags in their hands.
Don't know where people are getting the idea that the ilac isn't a busy shopping centre, it's packed at 9 o clock in the morning, until near enough closing time. Has always been, even when the shops in it wernt so great. It's getting better now in terms of shops and what's in it , which makes it an ideal place for the club to have a store.
For all us culchies, a visit to the lilac was always a part of the trip to the big smoke - usually after a fry in Bewleys. Looking forward to seeing what the store has to offer.
It's getting a bit of a revamp. There's a TK Maxx there now as well as a few other stores opened or opening that should get more people in.
