I feel for anyone who gets ripped off You were gonna pay €160 for tickets that cost €110/€115 The majority of people on here are well aware of places that are rip off merchants
Ha you have being done the same as Take that tickets, Bruce tickets and Boys zone. There is a utube song about this bloke. The gaurds have a file in him also.
Shows you how great Irish Kop is. I've never had a problem giving or getting tickets off anyway on here.
Easy to be wise after the event but the alarm bells should've went off when a deposit was involved,I'd never pay a deposit for tkts. Did you and the young head over for the game anyway?
Very sad to hear pal. There's some scumbags out there. Over there a few weeks ago I was talking to some lads from Dundalk who got done on the same type of scam. Hope the young lad wasn't too dissapointed
How did you pay? My misses tried to surprise me with derby tickets last year and your man was a scam! She used a credit card and they refunded her money!
Sorry to hear that, some nasty scum out there. Id honestly say stick around and contribute ere and youll be able to do swaps etc with lads and lassies for face value Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
say away from the touts mate, its a hard lesson but thanks for the heads up, get in with this site, its really good. but beware theres some people who are never wrong lol
i'm in the same boat i'm in the same boat I bought 2 tickets for liverpool v fulham off donedeal from gearoid kavanagh in dec 2012 and he never sent me out the tickets, on the day of the game he had left a letter for me in the marriot hotel which had the fancard numbers on it and i showed the letter at the ticket office at anfield and got into the game then for the last game of the season 2013 v qpr i gave him a deposit of 150 euro for 4 tickets and was supposed to collect the tickets off him the day before the game on my way to cork airport but he would not answer the phone to me, since then i've made contact and he kept saying he'd refund me but never did, this guy is a scam artist and is going to get whats coming to him
Report him for theft / fraud at your local garda station. That might stop him from doing it again at least.
He should be reported to guards and the club. Scumbag, very sorry to hear this Tbh I was really stuck one time and I got tickets off toutless he asked me for a deposit on cards and that I would get deposit back when he got cards back, I didn't mind this all went well thankfully. But anyone paying over the odds after the game should send a letter to the club with the details on card. personally I would not pay more than 5euro. Over ticket price.
This problem on the increase as we approach or get 'better' ! The following stories are taken from the Swansea ticket thread on RAWK - So buy at own risk While I was at the front of the queue I overheard two stewards talking. They were on about people getting other paper tickets from other games, scratching off the other team name/date and printing on 'Swansea' and the new date. Then selling them on for £100 and people were obviously being rejected at the turnstiles. Two home games running now we've seen people in tears at the turnstile after being told their tickets were fake. Both times they had bought on the internet at about a ton a ticket. A steward in the Kop showed me two confiscated fake tickets yesterday. You couldn't tell by looking. They were very professionally done. In one way, this is good news. If fakes are impossible to tell until the point you scan the barcode, once word get round, it will quickly kill the tout market using paper tickets.Basically, if you're looking to buy paper tickets through unofficial channels, you'll only be able to buy from people you know and trust, or people you're going through the turnstiles with and going to pay on the other side.
Unfortunately these fakes have being around for concerts etc for years, they will soon bring out fake fan cards that would be impossible to check until they are scanned. Its pocket change to get a card made up considering if you can get £100 for the same Should only ever buy off someone you trust but plenty will run the risk

They should be strung up - there is no excuse whatsoever for tampering with the memorial tickets. It's sick to the stomach.
