Did anyone sign up to this? I did myself. Some great stuff on it. I love AFQ, The Pink, What We Call History, And Could He Play, Rewired and The Big Interview. Carragher was on that last week.
I didn't yet because I don't want 20 podcasts a week flooding my app! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LFC podcasts, blogs and Internet personalities have reached saturation point. There's far too much going on with the Anfield Wrap and the quality of their work is suffering already imo which is a pity because it's by far the best podcast by LFC fans. I listened to the day trippers one after the Hull game and it was awful. It was like the group of annoying lads sitting behind you in the pub. Again a pity because I thought it had great potential when it started. But the things that annoyed me initially with it,it's like they've gone it great lengths to amplify those things rather rectify them. For me it's the Internet personality thing and it's turned it into a bit of a parody. But I'll always say,I've respect for people with the courage to do these things and I'm sure there's plenty who enjoy the things that annoy me.
Yes a hell of a lot shows on the Anfield Wrap. It's going to be interesting to see how far they can go with it long term. I think as Paddser said John Gibbons and Neil Atkinson will run out of things to talk about I think I last listened to the Day Trippers during the world cup and I just had to turn it off. Like yourself I thought it had potential at the start.
Well said. I don't really listen to any podcasts anymore. I used to enjoy the BBC podcasts. They used to have Darren Fletcher on it on a Saturday I think and then Kelly Cates & Ian Wright on the Sunday evening. Good listening & it talks about all the teams and games & has fans phoning in which can be good and bad.
We've got loads of stuff on Heysel on our website now, including a podcast that a few lads on here kindly took part in Hopefully people feel its a bit more balanced http://www.theanfieldwrap.com/2015/05/h ... roduction/
There is slight over kill on the sheer volume of podcasts at times but there specials are very good and worth the 5er alone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes I can understand why some people wouldn't pay and also how they wouldn't have the time either. I commute to work so it suits me in that I have the time. Overall though I have enjoyed it and find it well worth the £5.
Listening to parry reminded me of what an achievement it was to have gone so close to winning the league in 09 with all the sh1t that was going on in the background.
I've not always been in agreement with Roy Henderson's views but I think he got this opinion piece spot on. DO WE SEE ANGELS OR DO WE SEE DEMONS?
Good discussion on the access to tickets for home league games for members on the latest pod, I'd like to hear them have the same discussion about access to away tickets. If it's a "flawed process" then surely the loyalty system in place for away league games is flawed too? As they said, why should your ability to get tickets be impacted by whether or not you got them in the past? Mental that our average attendance was only a thousand less than the mancs 20 years ago, we stood still. How much like his da does ste Evans sound?
A very good hour long interview with Roy Evans yesterday. Really enjoyable. Second part to come as well. Looking forward to hearing about his time as manager. Loved watching his team play.
