Looks really good on the break especially in his Leverkusen days. Let's hope he can bring that form to Anfield. I'll say it again he totally reminds me of Patrick Berger when in full flow
Im impressed looks good strong agressive which is what you want still has work to do, but so far looks good.
Haven’t seen this lad play but from YouTube he looks all left foot, yet he steps up and slots home a right footed penalty. Never seen anything like that before.
Think this boy is gonna a be a big player for us. First impressions are excellent. Cool peno against City too.
Still can't get over he is only 20 looks composed on the ball. This lad will only get better under BR
Is he not right footed? I know he plays off the left a lot of the time but I always thought he was right footed.
It's only early days but from what I have seen of him so far and at leverkusen he looks a quality player.
This guy is really impressing me. He's seems to be built like a tank but he's clever too the way he puts himself about. Watching him stick Richards and then Balotelli on their asses was very funny and impressive at the same time. Neither was a free. http://metro.co.uk/2014/08/03/emre-...ng-liverpools-2-0-win-over-ac-milan-4819639/?
Really impressed with him so far. Also I know YouTube can be rubbish when looking at a player but there's a montage from his performance against Dortmund last year and he seems to be everywhere. From that analysis you can see he's strong, quick, technically good and attacks and defends with aggression. For a young guy in a champions league team he's also on corners and free kicks. I think we may have found ourselves a top player.
time will tell , but he brings pace and power to the midfield where it was needed, a big upgrade on Lucas, and he seems versatile so can play further up the pitch as well.
Mrs babbsnads thinks he's a good looking fella. The only other Liverpool player she fancies is Stevie G,so I'm taking that as a good sign. Having said that she fancied me at one time so it's probably not a foolproof system of judging a player.
I see that dickhead Tony Evans claiming yesterday that BR is'nt happy with Can he expected a hendo style player running and chasing back, claims BR wants him to work harder. Its a pity Evans doesnt actualy watch pool games, as if you look closely a Moreno's goal v spurs you'll see Can was heavly involved by blocking Dememble's run preventing him from reaching Moreno in time.
I wouldn't be too bothered what Tony Evans says to be honest. He's a passionate Liverpool fan & not a bad guy but he talks a considerable amount of horseshit when it comes to Liverpool. He claimed that Paul Lambert is/was a better coach/manager than Brendan Rodgers & wanted Lambert to get the Liverpool job.
Yes he seems as passionate as the rest of us. I am sure we have all said things that look stupid now if we looked back.
A man that declared on the front page of a national newspaper a notoriously secretive communist country was about to buy an English football club, all on the word of a man convicted of fraud is not really an opinion held in high regard IMO. On a lesser note he said in 2010 Gerrard was about to be "diplomatically removed" from LFC. This summer he said Origi wouldn't be going back to Lille when the world and his brother knew he would.
