Bringing the kids to Dublin for xmas shopping in a week.Anyone any idea where the best Santa to visit is. Thanks
Switzers was the place to go used to queue up from say 4ish looking into the windows was great the elves workshop the lot you name it, there was never & still nothing like what Switzers was!!
That use to be highlight of my Christmas, use to q around the corner, be in q for a well over an hour
Fort Lucan had a godd Santa's Grotto thing set up last year which was good. Bring the kids through different Elf workshops and bits and then so Santa at the end. Thought it was pretty well done. Not sure if its a goer again this year
Have heard from a few different people that the DSPCA have a great santa and tour with all the animals around. A few I know go every year and say it's brilliant but you have to book in advance... Voted best santa 2009 apparently Might go myself now after that, never too old right! http://www.dspca.ie/dspca/Xmas
theres a steam train leaving dublin city to longford i think, santa is going to be on it, and loads of fun stuff on board aswell
me to, my late grandad was the head of security there for a few years, and when we went in to see the santa, he knew who we where, and was able to say, "ah yes, Michael is your grandad" you can imagine the pure awe by me and my brother it still puts a smile on my face
I'm with Lucan Red, arnotts Santa is very good, had my young fella in there last year with a Liverpool scarf on the young lad and he start singing Y N W A to him... Very good
