Anyone here work for them. Trying to setup my broadband and it wont connect. Tried ringing but aparently theres some emergency and the phones are closed. If anyone works for them Pm me please. Thanks.
everything looks like its working. Picking up on the wireless and that. The internet light isnt on. I was on to there support but got cut off when I rang back I couldn't get through as the phone lines were down.
Would your man not know that straight away? I was talking for 15 minutes trouble shooting. I know in UPC they can tell usually within half an hour of the fault happening.
Changed over from bt to these lads and i think it is an awful service. Very slow and getting cut off the whole time. Some nights i cant even get connected so this could be your problem. They say that for free we will be upgraded to the better faster package in december so fingers crossed.
Im not able to get that package in my area . The dsl light is on. My laptop picks up on everything and shows a full connection so by right it should connect but the last light is the one being a bollox.
When did you order it? mine came after a week but even tho i had it all installed etc they said that it would take a few more days for the line to be upgraded like, a total joke.
yeah i figured that but i know a guy in there sales dept and he said its ready to go so did the tech lad i spoke to.
i guess all you can do is check phone lines are in prob and you set it up right, refresh all the equipment, turn it off and on and take out all leads etc and back in and hopefully it will come on.
I got eircom in last week , you've prob done this already but make sure you set everything up connected to the ethernet cable first it might help. the internet would only come on for me once i set it up with the cable connected first. and turn the router on off to see it it helps.
i was with Eircom once upon a time So many bundles confused my mind But then imagine came knocking on my door And now i wont get ripped off anymore CAUSE I'VE GOT............
Are you using an eircom modem or a different one? I was getting awful trouble with it when I went with eircom first so I just switched modems and now it runs like a dream.
I had the same problem but it was because the line came through trees above ground and was getting damaged.
Had I*****e once upon a time, service was good, but absolutely abysmal customer service. I was getting €300 bills regularly, & disconnected when refusing to pay the obviously wrong amounts. Must still be on the abacus system in the accounts dept! How they've any customers I don't know!!
