Its hard to believe hes still only 21, absolute beast of a man for his age. Really hope we hang onto him for a long time to come.
I like this lad big time but last night he made a few BAD passes and lucky to get away with them, But play well imo
I like the way he shouted at Sturridge to get him to congratulate Mario showed maturity beyond he's age, captain material without a doubt.
Didn't see footage of Danny congratulating Mario, did it definitely happen yeah? I saw Henderson with Mario afterwards but never saw Sturridge.
Move the guy into midfield where he belongs, he has the dynamism that really suits the attacking players we have. He is not a centre half. Those fearing what we will lose from the defence are missing what he will add to our overall play if moved to the middle. Fantastic at driving forward with a ball. Himself and Henderson in the middle would be immense and could be a pairing for years.
This guy is a midfielder. Looked a bit shaky in defence last night. I don't think he is a good header of the ball.
A midfield of Can and Henderson would worry me. Don't think either have the discipline or attributes to play the holding role. For me it would be either Henderson or Can. Not both in the current system.
I agree,I'd want Allen or Lucas in our 11 in the current system. No problem with Can being pushed in there when we're chasing a goal but an Allen or Lucas type is important IMO.
Doesn't look like Pulis will be giving Wisdom a run. Shame. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/west-brom-boss-tony-pulis-8688456
Anyone know how he's doing today? Got an awful ankle breaking from Blind yesterday. What was he at yesterday, he seemed to just go mad at certain times and try play the ball out and mess around in dangerous positions, Simon bailed him out at least twice. Hopefully it's all out of his system now and he can go back to being a calm player.
What did people think of his red card yesterday? Seen some people suggesting he slipped but not for me. He got frustrated and lashed out and deservedly picked up a second yellow card.
To be honest mate, I had recorded MOTD and watched the incident a few times, I do think he slipped... That said, if he hadn't been mouthing off at the ref, he might not have gotten the first yellow. A real shame whats been happening of late with his play, given I think this lad is one of the best of our last bunch of signings. Perhaps he'd be more comfortable, if played in a midfield position where he belongs.
What is it at the moment with Liverpool players and moments of madness. Stupid thing to do intentionally or not. I know he a young player but he is a professional being well paid and discipline should be focused on. Missing now for matches in the final run in. Shame really was performing well lately.
I think we all see the red mist, at one stage or another - I'd suspect many of the players are under a bit of stress at the moment, trying to live up to their purchase prices etc. and just go too far while trying to impress.
He got two yellows, so his ban will only be one game. He'll miss the FA Cup game against Blackburn but will be back for the weekend.
Is it not 2 games? The first yellow was his 5th of the season so he was already due to miss 1 game because of that. EDIT: just realised he probably escaped a ban for his 5th yellow because it's into April. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No it's only if you get 5 yellows before Christmas, do you get a ban. After that it changes to a ban for 10 yellows before the end of April or something like that.
