Too many threads going around and it will cause confusion so just keep everything in here.

Right just to clarify this if you are a current paid up SOS member we are inviting you to join a localised branch based in this country. This could become multiple branches depending on the numbers.

What you have to do is send an email to this email address only

    irish.branch.sos@gmail.com

stating the following information in the following format

I (name here) Confirm that I have joined Spirit Of Shankly Irish Branch, Current membership number is **** Address is (address here)

If you have already done this and sent it to the above email address you need to do nothing else we will be in touch once we have gathered all the names.

If you have sent it to a different email address then you need to resend it to us at the email address above in the correct format.

Thanks for you co operation once we have all the info we can move forward this may take a while so bear with us please

*Bump* to keep it on top.

Maybe make this a sticky for a while or lock the other one altogether.

Nice one. I enquired with SOS about setting up an Irish Branch back in March but I never did anything about it. I will send mail now in a second.

What a load off Bollix!!! Why do we need an Irish SOS when everyone already are members of the Liverpool One??? Making the whole ****ing thing!! like the crypton Fcator when the original runs very well!!

Total Waste of time and money stick with the original!!

Let me guess the commitee??? Maybe An L memeber, Maybe a G member, Maybe a R member, and the ??? Clique!!! Was there a vote for for commitee?? bet not!!!

No need whatso ever for an Irish branch off SOS as the original makes more sense,is beyond a joke!! Commitee L, G, R, & ???

    Laughable!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

Can't see a Poll for commitee choice lads, but if there was one let me know!!!

i think the lads are only on the commitee to get it up and running and then members will be asked to vote a commitee in when it up and running.

Is a joke, if the thoughts were there to open a branch up, it should have been discussed here first and foremost!! Then worry about commitee, what happens if some are biased??? are we all then expected to listen to them???

We dont need a dublin branch, the original is working perfect.

maybe it should of been discussed but its an idea from the union themselves not from people on this site. I'm sure no obligation to join up if you don't want to

    http://www.spiritofshankly.com/news/Spirit-of-Shankly-Branches.html

They have already set up one in London and Sweden, and they are setting one up in Northern Ireland. The orginal person to setup the branch was not even a member on this site. As for commitee, not many would want the hassle of trying to organise this so fair to anyone who is involved be they a member of the 'clique' or not.

Gary in all fairness theres enough going on at the club, without the distraction off setting up an unnessasary branch when not needed.

I'm all for getting yanks out, but lets be realistic and stick to what is out there now, and not confuse fans!!!
