That is ridiculous. A complete marketing ploy imo - get the jersey seen so they can get summer sales moving. Shouldn't be allowed.

Of course it is Frank but where's the harm in it? We're not the first club to do this and its not the first time we've done it either. We did it with an adidas strip not too long ago, and Reebok before that iirc.

this has been happening for years. although i dont think it happened last year. there is even tours to melwood now. they will be selling the shirts off players backs soon enough. ****ing ugly side of football.

You can't moan for not competing comercially and then moan when we are cashing in on those who want to spend money on the club. I think a tour to Melwood is a great idea as is advertising next seasons jersey on the players on Sunday. All a necessary evil of the modern game unfortunately to maximise our income.

I know lads, I just hate it :) I think it shouldn't be allowed, i.e. you register strips for the season and they are what can only be worn. The game is just getting worse and worse with all this commercialism :(

Have to say i read this and thought it was a good idea from commercial side. The side where we need to improve our windfall due to the shortage of available seats to sell, compared to our rivals

If it gives us extra revenue we need with minimal distraction, then im all for it
