Need to find places in or Near dublin/Wexford that sell dresses you could wear to a ball, something akin to a debs dress I've been told. Needs to be cheapish too. Should be shorter in the front, with a slit, and not be too high in the top. THat means feck all to me, so hopefully someone knows what she's talking about. She wants to show off the shoes. Dipshit here(me) managed to find the most perfectly amazing shoes ever, and she now can't find a dress that will let her show them off at the ball, so I went from best person ever in the world to enemy number1, and she has me driven demented looking for dresses. So any help is greatly appreciated. The ball is on the 8th of Feb btw, so need something before then, otherwise I'll be smothered in my sleep.

That's what is happening mate, I just have to find things that match the style, and she will pick the winner. Seeing as its my fault she has the nice shoes, just cant win with them,ha. She looked all over Dundrum and town and found nothing. I'll send her to that site. What is delivery like do you know?
Pretty quick think 2 or 3 days from ordering. Asos is another good site. Going dress shopping with a woman is way more tiring than playing 90 minutes football, thank god for internet shopping. *edit just had a quick glance up the thread and see boohoo and asos were already mentioned.
I've sent her about 50 dresses so far this evening, all terrible apparently. I'm being crucified. Going to take her to Debs Dresses Direct in Fashion City. Hopefully that'll do the trick.
The place beside xtravision on the main st in Wexford is the main stop in town. Got stung nicely for a dress in there one day.
You sound so wrapped I'm in shock. Surely she should just be happy with the shoes? And why would she trust you to go get a dress for her? Anyway a dress that is shorter at the front with a slit is near impossible cause there won't be any material to slit when its cut up at the front. Does she mean a slit in the back ? Debs/ball dresses don't come cheap unless you want it to look cheap. Your best bet is Coast or Karen Millen. Or there is two dress shops in Clane that sell really nice formal dresses. Put up a pic of the shoes so we can see how special they are pretty please
