need help!!!! (car help)

    Ok my car a peugeot 206 is having some identity issues it thinks its a swimming pool:eek:
    had the outer seals replaced 6months ago and the inner seals seem fine it was in the garage most the day and the soaked the car etc and cant find how the water is getting in.
    oh and guess what its due to rain tonight how exciting.:mad:

    The wife had a golf that leaked and we eventually found that the windscreen wasn't properly sealed.

    nope no sun roof unfortunately doesnt look like its the windscreen either cause its in the back as well but under the seat

    Mine does the same thing; under the mats?

    I just ignore it. I see no possible fallout to this approach.

    Is the seal around the boot ok? and the seals around the front and rear lights too?

    unfortunately i did that most of last year and it kept getting worse so got seals replaced afraid the cars going to rot:(

    The wifes car was wet under the passenger seat and at the front on the same side

    I've heard of leaves blocking the water running away from the engine, that comes off the windscreen, and water building up and getting in the vents

    had a machanic look at it for 3hrs today said he checked all the seals on the boot etc and all the vents seriously wrecking my head ah thanks for the suggestions

    Does the car have airconditioing? Some system have a drain point that lets off to the cat floor

    Had the same problem a few years ago with a car. No one could find out how it was getting in so decided that the water getting in wasn't the real problem, it was the water that was lodging on the floor.

    Drilled 3 small holes in the floor with a small drill bit careful not to hit anything to allow the water out. Never had a problem with it after that.
