Currently looking at booking 4 or 5 days at the start of November. Anybody got any ideas of whether it is better to book hotel and flights seperately, or does it depend on what you find on the day???

Vegas is insane. A must for everyone before they die. The grand canyon and "love" by the circ de soleil are both amazing.

Won $650.00 dollars playing poker which helps:)

I caught a program here in Thai about Vegas a while back. Remember all those craters we saw in the desert when flying into and out of the airport? Well they are not natural wonders, they were caused by a-bomb testing!!! You can't get near them because of all the radioactive chemicals!! Crazy *******s

    Any help folks?
Headin over next tuesday for a week, and lookin to find somewhere that'll show the Scum game. Ive seen a few comments bout the "Crown & Anchor" and the sportsbook in the MGM grand, but these seem to be circa 2008.

Has anyone been over recently that managed to find somewhere defo showin the game??

    Cheers

The Sportsbook in the MGM has about 200 screens they will defo have it whatever channel is showing it in the US.

If I were you I would get onto the Concierge in whatever hotel you are staying in, they might know a bar that would be showing it off the beaten track. I am sure loads of people will be looking to see it.:):)

Go to Rain nightclub on the Saturday night, then stroll to the sportsbook downstairs in the Palms and tell them to put it on, thats what we did and it worked wonders for the derby last year! Its on at stupid o'clock so its your best hope of getting out on the sat and the game!

Thinking of going with a group of lads, but trying to do it on the cheap. Anyone any idea of what 4 or 5 nights in vegas would set me back flights, hotel and spending money included

    Get onto Ebookers mate ...

If you don't mind an old fashoned hotel, the older vegas hotels can be secured at around $20 per night - the likes of Casino Casino I think.

Went last year for 5 nights in MGM Grand via Gatwick, then direct to Vegas for 650 each for 2 people all in.

Almost impossible to try and gauge your spending money mate without you giving an idea of whether you're going to be gambling, clubbing, drinking your arse off, eating out in nice restaurants, going to shows, trip to grand canyon etc.... All things you need to do if you go to Vegas :)
