Meath manager Eamon O'Brien was given the boot last night by the Meath Co Board. Bit surprised, but not disappointed to be honest. He wasnt liked by the panel, and just hope we get a good man in there now. In some ways I think an 'outsider' might be the best option.

GAA All Ireland Final - Down v Cork

    Hey guys/girls,

Im a County Down resident, fan and match go'er.. one of many trying to get in touch with every club in the country trying to source a ticket for the final on 19th September. Its proving extremely difficult! If you can help or hear of anything please get in touch. Im trying every possible way.

Any help would be highly appreciated, believe me! Its a once in a lifetime opportunity for us that cant be missed. I know there are smaller clubs around the country that get allocated with unwanted tickets and have emailed hundreds of them today. Any favours would be remembered!

Not sure - all depends on the ticket situation between now and then. If nothing shows up I'll find a decent seat in a boozer in town and drink as much Guiness as possible from midday til the early hours of the morning
