watched a bit of the first half there, as expected not much happening, McGeady had a good run and chance and Kilbane had a shout of a peno.

why did cunningham give the MOTM to lawerence and not doyle

 

Doyle was immense in that game imo, thought the result didnt reflect the performance, we outplayed them and should of had more goals, team is looking good anyway, bring on Andorra

 

think kilbane has to go he would have got rosted if there was a winger with pace

 

Just caught the second half and it was a cracking game. McGeady was very poor, Doyle was class, Lawrence was very good and i also thought Green had a good game.

 

really good result against decent team for 5th seed. doyle and lawrence played very well

 

have to say i enjoyed that game. close and tight as it was towards the end an' all.

no sign of a 'pool player tho,

Just love to have the days back when there would be 3/4 liverpool boys on the team;

euro 88; lawrenson, whelan, houghton, aldridge.

wc 90; whelan (never played due to injury), staunton, houghton, aldridge, (might not be entirely right on these, but i'm having a few cans and just reminiscing)
