A joke as in you played a joke on us or as in the horse was a joke. I really hope it's the latter  :)

Staying away from this thread for a while as tips or fancies lately have been by and large off the mark (including my own). Giving it a break for a few weeks:):) Over 5000 posts, that's a lot of tips:D

a joke of a ride and a joke of a horse, lost a fair few few on it myself :(

Anyone know why is Willie Mullins runner in this handicap chase so low down in the handicap at 10stone 5lbs in this race do you know? course and distance winner 2 starts ago

    http://horses.sportinglife.com/Racecards/0,12495,394169,00.html

And this is what Willie himself has to say on it:
Etcetera Etcetera (Paul Townend) reverts to fences in the 3m 1f handicap chase. She seems in good form and hopefully the ground won't be too firm for her. She is a course and distance winner and with a bit of luck she might repeat the dose.

Watched that 7.10 in clonmel yesterday, im not one to give out about a tip cause people are just passing on what they hvae heard and its fair enough but i find it very diffficult to believe that horse was geared to win that race, he didnt even look fit or interested from the off and never featured and was beaten easy.

I wonder with the advent of Betfair are there people putting out false information that will spread the word on a given horse or dog on the day of a race. The horse or dog is backed off the boards and those who really know it wont win, lay it on Betfair at a small price and make a killing. I am not saying that is the case in this tip as it did not really drift before the off, however I would say there is a bit of this shengians going on around the Uk and Ireland.

Well there may be something in it cause that horse did drift before the off, he was 7/2 10 mins before the race and went off at 5/1.

big gambles always drift or open up as bigger prices 10 or 15 minutes before the off, thats normal.

Slovakia are 8/15 to beat macedonia at home. does anyone else think that is buying money? especially after slovakias decent showing in the world cup, beating italy 3-2.

I dont see how 8/15 is buying money....

I mean its early season and we ahve no idea what sort of form or anything the slivak players are in. They should win but dont have enough info to be throwing a lot of money on when the price is so bad.

Like 50 quid on and all u make is 26 and to be honest i wouldnt be risking 50 quid on it.

That said I am sure they will win but i dont have enough money to be putting on to make it worthwhile or that i be able to afford to lose.

double it up with Slovenia (@8/13) - their a decent side and N.Ireland don't really travel well, the double pays around 1.5/1 but don't go too mad it is intnl football!

I think Germany @ 4/7 (away to Belgium) are a nice price too tonight and if you throw that in with the other 2 it gives almost 3/1 for the treble!

fcukin norn Ireland, typical international night!!

Although you could've cleaned up backing favourites for first goal... Torres, Defoe, Kuyt, Turan, Klose.. even Yossi got one for Isreal on Thurday night!!

Ah well onto the next one!

That horse Recession Proof is running in 3.05 at Haydock. Think we made a few quid on it last year. 14/1 and e/w first four.

A horse called am i blue landed a massive gamble at hereford last week, winning by any distance. He is out again today in the last race at newton abbott, 8/11 though. But he runs off the same mark and this race today looks as weak as the one he won last week!

i stuck €20 on three draws in tomorrow's matches. Belarus vs. Romania, Norway vs. Portugal & Georgia vs. Israel. Get back around €680 provided it comes in.
