    Bolton Wanders? :D

Being honest I couldn't see why Madrid would want Rafa, he has an excellant record in champions and spainish league but they want attactive football.

The two substitutions at half time were very brave decisions by the Lyon manager. It was a really great game tonight. The Lyon keeper was also unlucky to concede the opening goal through his legs. The last time that Lyon reached this stage of the competition was 2005-06 season.

Maybe the expectations for Lyon are different this year. Bordeaux are the current French title holders and also have a very good chance to make the last eight. Prior to last season Lyon won seven titles in a row but never got as far as a Champions League semi-final.

United will draw Lyon or Bordeaux in the next round and find themselves in the Semi final where they will probably meet Arsenal then all of a sudden United in a third straight final. We have seen it all before.

Taken from another site but say's it all really.

Everything in football is about money these days unfortunately and it ****ing stinks. Manchester City would only ever be in a position to challenge at such a level because of such a ridiculous injection of capital. England aren't outperforming anyone at the moment. They are just outspending them. Is England such a fantastic country to live in? Is our weather great? No. Is our culture great? No. Are our women stunning? No. (And if you are a woman reading this, put some make-up on, bake me a cake, iron my shirt for tomorrow and shut the **** up.) The only reason England is managing to attract all of these world stars is because teams here can offer them more money. Sky TV's money has created a gulf between the top flight and the rest of England and these nouvea-riche owners have come in and managed to create a gulf between England and the rest of Europe. The very fact that people are talking about what a ****ing disaster it will be for Liverpool Football Club to not qualify for the Champions League due to the financial repercussions we will face says it all. The whole thing is a great big mess.

I long for the ****ing days of Dynamo ****ing Dresden and Crusaders, I'm telling yer!

Countries have always have dominant spells but none have stunk as much as England's right now.

So here's to the semi-final draw. Arsenal v Chelsea, Man Utd v Barca. Snore, snore ****ing zzzzzzzzzzzzz

Tbh it's become a joke of a competition anyway's. I'll take bets Chelsea/Utd/Arsenal and Barca will be the semi's teams yet again. Yawnfest.
