Well, tbh, we can base the judgement of sorts from both sets, those who are happy he's gone because of injuries does not mean he's a bad player.... And those who think he's a good player!! From what Ive seen of him, hes a good player, he's also young, and injuries are best sorted now rather than when he is older.
Thats what i mean, some are happy for all sorts of reasons, and others disapointed for other reasons, so its extremly hard for us to go by the roma fans reactions. One thing though, when Rafa spends big, he tends never to get it wrong.
Just a bit of info regarding this guy. I know how this will sound but we have soon to be family in Rome and was on a stag a few weekends ago. One of the lads is very heavily involved in football in Rome and has interviewed Aquialani on two occasions. The injuries actually don't paint the full picture of his playing time. He has had bad injuries but coupled with timing and competition against an established pretty much international midfield line up has seen his playing time reduced. But was told this should be nothing to worry about , that he did play well. Just bad timing makes the amount of starts etc look much worse than it was. Apparently the guys head was up his a*se for a bit (first interview) but had matured dramatically by the second. The consensus seemed to be that the move to Liverpool is a good one as he won't be the big star so much and won't have local pressure and rivalries weighing on his shoulders. From what I've heard most Roman's are genuinely sorry to see him go and reckon he's going to be avery very good player for us.
Didnt hear anything, but did find a picture of his wife. http://www.caughtoffside.com/2009/08/06/liverpool-new-boy-aquilanis-hot-stunning-wag-naked/
hope he s not the new jamie redknap to be fair everybody seems to think he is a class player lets hope so, remember masch couldnt even get into wet spams first team and since we have him hes a fcukin monster and everybody wants him
Liverpool plan to unleash Aquilani at Sunderland http://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...-unleash-aquilani-at--sunderland-1896381.html Liverpool are targeting their trip to Sunderland on October 17 as the game in which £20m midfielder Alberto Aquilani will make his long-awaited debut. The Italian, who joined the club from Roma in August, is expected to have recovered from an ankle injury sustained in March. Liverpool have been determined not to rush his recuperation but the club's doctors are confident they have cured an underlying complaint which restricted Aquilani to just 21 appearances in all competitions last season. Aquilani is likely to step up his training when his team-mates depart for international duty after Liverpool's visit to Chelsea and should be in contention for a place on the substitutes' bench when Rafael Benitez takes his team to the Stadium of Light two weeks later. Sources insist the player is confident he will make a full recovery, thanks to the efforts of Liverpool's medical staff, and he is described as being "very happy" at his new club.
