anyone ever been? my bessie mate is getting married so i got to pick the stag venue, it had to be las vegas after everything ive heard about it so anybody got any storys or recommendations for me as regards hotels etc..
Las Vegas for a stags weekend!!. Who do ya think you are, Robbie Keane?! Haven't been to Vegas but the boyfriend was over there about 2 years ago and stayed in the Luxor. Its a popular hotel and its reasonable enough in price in comparision to some akaik. Here's the website: http://www.luxor.com/ Rooms from $69 per night. When are you going? This could make a difference to price etc So jealous, Vegas is one place I'd love to see. It's on my list and hopefully will get around to it in the next year or two.
I was over there in Sept, its a great spot for running a muck alright. Accomodation varies depending on what you want, I stayed here for a few nights place is unreal but probably not the best for a stag; http://www.signaturemgmgrand.com/ For $200 a night go for the NewYork NewYork (great craic in there at night) or the MGM for that price range or else for lower rates you can stay in the likes of Circus Circus which aren't the best. You could rent a house depending on how many are going, they'll be off the strip but could be great for a large group, swimming pool at the back etc i'm sure ive a few links to sites that have promo codes etc i'll see i can find it
Was there a few weeks ago. Stayed in the bellagio. Probably one of the most expensive there but very nice. The place is unreal. Quality place to go with a few lads alright
As you know I was there for my Stags for Paddys Weekend last year and its F***** amazing!!! Luxor is a super hotel and very cheap!
Unreal spot. I stayed in the MGM Grand last year, was not even that expensive. I know you are going on the Stag but helicopter trip out to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon is a must.
i stayed in the MGM and every thing about it was excellent the staff couldnt do nuff for us,eg... booking dinner finding tables to gamble at,anything u want just ask....was in most of the hotels and the bellagio is class,was a couple of years ago but as far as i remember it was fairly reasonable.anything u want and i mean ANYTHING is just a question away....wat a fcukin city...
I was there about 2 years ago ... The place is pure class. We stayed in the MGM, was excellent, not expensive though neither are most of the other hotels, they just want you in and gambling. If your looking for some stuff to do during the day time, you can book to go to a shooting range and handle all sorts of weapons, such as Uzi's AK47s etc, wonderful chance to get to try firing machine guns etc. See: http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/ Other hotels worth checking out: - The Venitian - The Bellagio - Luxor - New York, New York (I know someone who stayed here previously, they said it was good) All very nice places and very central. i actually want to stay in new york new york as it looks like its a mental kip and since im best man i reckon well end up booking it. so its ok to run amuck in there is it?? some of the lads dont get out to often so they make up for it when the strings are loosened!!
Fair play you may aswell!. Yous will have a savage time over there on a stags. I'm fascinated by Vegas, love the fact that there's nowhere else in the world quite like it and it is so over the top and tacky but amazing!.

Been there twice in the last year, once with the mrs and once with the lads. Stayed in 4 different hotels too. New york New york would be a good stay and is very reasonable and has some good bars. Treaasure island was good also, had laods of pool parties etc with lots of scantilly clad women. Thats a big party hotel.
Hey, ye'll have a blast over there. I was there 2 years ago for a week. Crazy place. There's lots more than gambling, booze and scantly clad women btw, not that there's anything wrong with that . You should check out some of the shows they have over there. I went to see the Blue Man Group. They're nuts. Really good entertainment. They do a lot of crowd interaction too which is good fun.
Hi Kelly Doesn't really matter much which hotel you stay in tbh, they are all very good, and you won't be spending much time there anyway. If you don't run amuck, you will be frowned upon NYNY is a good choice, it's pretty central, and it has an Irish bar in it! 9 Fine Irishmen. It's pretty much the only pub on the strip in Vegas, everything else is either a casino bar (small bar with video poker in front of every stool, def not somewhere you want to go for pints!) or a nightclub. If you want to watch football, I was here at 5am to watch Liverpool v Aston Villa last season http://www.crownandanchorlv.com/soccerschedule.html http://www.mcmullansirishpub.com/ GAA here, and I assume Premier League as well, but I've never actually been there myself.
