Well said James. Can't help but feel the great man has left us with "unfinished business" again. Thank you Kenny. One of our own.
Thank you King Kenny. You are the reason I support Liverpool in the first place. Thanks for all you've done for us since you took over.To say I'm devastated is underestimating it
The man has done more for the club in one afternoon than those Yanks could do in a century at the club YNWA Kenny, your business at LFC is still unfinished
too right, the fcking nitwits ! - they're as bad as the last lot ! 2 cup finals, 1 cup & most importantly playing great football most of the time with alot of bad luck
The reign of Hodgson made me fall of out love with the game, the day the King came back against the Mancs is one I wont forget as it restored my faith in the game. So long Kenny, thanks for three trips down Wembley Way this year. Supporters from other clubs are lucky to get down it once. YNWA
i remember the first time he left us and this is equally upsetting kenny will always be the king and mr liverpool in my eyes
I was thinking about this only the other day. Remember how Kenny came out on the Old Trafford sideline for his first game back, stood in front of the dugout and with one of his customary massive smiles put both hands up to salute his people, us, up high in the upper tier of the stand behind the goal. That's what Liverpool means to him. Has anyone got the picture of that handy? Would love to see it again
I hope when the dust settles the split proves to have been amicable enough for the King to continue in some role at our club. Thanks for answering our call at our hour of need. Long live the King.
Gutted for Kenny. He deserved so much more. He will always command the utmost respect fro true reds!!
I agree, sad to see him go and very harsh in my opinion. Just another example of short term decision making in football these Days. A couple of inchs in it and we'd probably have had a Cup double, I dunno, very harsh. Thank you Kenny. You'll always be the King in my eyes.
I remember it like it was yesterday, great moment to be present for, don't recall a picture though I'm sure there was one. His smile lit up ten thousand hearts.
Very sad day One of my first Liverpool memories is finding out in school that Kenny had quit the first time. I was too young to appreciate him as i was 7 when he quit and don't recall Hillsborough at all and all he did as I was 5 One of the reasons I made the decision to really ramp up my Anfield attendance this season was the return of Kenny as I had missed him for all intents and purposes the first time. Loved watching him in the dugout all season celebrating our goals just like I was Feel really sorry for Kenny more than anything. All he can do is try to remmeber the happy times from his return, just like I will
