taco sauce - question

    not talking about the spicy mexician sauce but the light pink sauce you get in the chipper you can buy it separate in a tub, or it comes with the taco fries.

    Anybody know where catering companies get it from, can one buy it or make it.
    its just a mate was talking about how its made he sai it was ketchup and mayo with thousand island dressing all mixed up. any body any ideas

    Ingredients:

    * 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    * 1/3 cup water
    * 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
    * 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
    * 1 1/2 teaspoons instant minced onion
    * 1 tablespoon white vinegar
    * 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    * 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    * 1/4 teaspoon paprika
    * 1/4 teaspoon sugar
    * 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Ketchup and mayo mixed together is called marie rose sauce

    A compnay called blenders supply the taco sauce your talking about to chippers and so on, i have never tasted it so could not tell you what it tastes like, im sure musgraves and other cash and carrys sell it, i know cakes is a fan of its work

    I have a mate who works in a chipper and when they run out of taco sauce they mix mayo tomato sauce and chili powder blended till it tastes right .
